Running around.

Does the full moon have an influence on you?  It always has on me.  When I was in the classroom I would notice a change in the students behavior when it was a full moon.  Some of the stats I have heard over the years is that there are more babies born and more crime committed.  There is more  gravitational pull on the earth and this may, or may not, account for these goings on.

When I got up yesterday I did my usual things and then sat down to write.  I had two certain photos I wanted to use so I began looking for them.  I have so many folders on my computer that are still listed by date and no title.  I couldn’t find them.  I looked and looked and finally stopped.  DSC_0001 copy_edited-1  I felt like Spot when he put his head through the cat door on the back porch trying to get to the cat food.  He couldn’t get in and I couldn’t find my photos.  I promised myself then and there that I am going to organize them better so I can find one when I need it.

Life is too short to spend time trying to find things.  I have discovered that if I leave it and come back to it later I will probably find what I was looking for.  I had lots of other things to do so I stopped running around like a chicken with my head cut off and did other things I was supposed to do.Hawaii 2009 739 copy  I heard a phrase long ago and I believe it to be true.  That is why if I am doing something and it is causing me discomfort I leave it.  That phrase is what I will leave you with today:  What you focus on is what you get.  Go to the Live Nativity  at the CP Church in Lewisburg tonight and maybe you will see me there.  Melanie

PS  These chickens were at a little park on Kauai, HI.  I was told they were left by Spaniards long ago.  There are many of them and they are wild.  They wanted to pay me to take some home with me.
